🔥 Are You Firewise?

800th California Firewise Community 🎆

KenCrest Ridge in Thousand Oaks has been designated California's 800th Firewise USA® Community. The recognition, celebrated by CAL FIRE officials, marks a milestone in wildfire preparedness. Firewise communities take proactive steps to reduce wildfire risk, such as forming committees, conducting risk assessments, and developing action plans. This program aims to protect property and enhance safety, with insurance benefits being a secondary outcome. California's rapid growth in Firewise communities highlights the increasing collective effort to mitigate wildfire dangers.
